Do you have phones in the rooms?
None of the rooms have phones, so you can just relax. We do have a phone in the lobby you are welcome to use.

Do the rooms have TV?
Our rooms do not have TVs so that you may enjoy your relaxing time away from the world on the Deschutes. Satellite TV is available in the bar and the Imperial Suite.

Will a cell phone work in Maupin?
Certain providers like US Cellular and Verizon will work at the lodge. We are strategically located down by the river so you can't get cell service from all providers. If you must use your cell phone, you can drive up out of the Deschutes canyon to get service. We do have phones that you can use at the Lodge.

Can I connect to the internet with my laptop?
We do have WiFi access over most of the grounds. The courtyard is an excellent place to enjoy a beverage while you catch up on your email. We also have a guest computer in the lobby.

Do you have rooms with a view of the river?
We do have rooms with an excellent view of the river. The guest wing of 13 rooms numbered 110-216 all have direct river views. The Sportsman's Room (#9), Sherar's Hotel (#8), and the Imperial Suite also have incredible river views.

Can I bring my pet?
We do allow pets in some rooms. They are the Imperial Suite, The Granary (#3), Birdwatching (#4), Railroad Room (#11), Homestead Room (#12),  River Crossing (#110), Roaring Rapids (#111), The Driftboat (#112) and the Bunkhouse. There is a nominal $15 fee per night to bring your pet along.

Do the rooms have private bathrooms?
All of the rooms have full private baths. Some even have a jet tub to make your stay even more enjoyable.

Does my room come with breakfast?
Your room at the lodge does come with a nice continental breakfast. During Steelhead season this is available to you at 4am.

Do you have non-smoking rooms?
All of our rooms are non-smoking. We have excellent cleaning standards and keep all rooms fresh as can be.

Do you have weekly rates?
We don’t have any published weekly rates. We can make special considerations for extended stays. Please call for specific situations.

Do you sell BLM Boater's Passes?
Yes we do.  They are available to purchase at our Front Desk during normal business hours.

Do you sell fishing licenses?
We do not sell fishing licenses, but you can purchase one in town.  Maupin Hardware, located on Deschutes Ave. (Main St.) in uptown Maupin sells state fishing licenses. They are open daily.

Do I need a guide to fish the Deschutes?
While it isn’t required, it is a very good idea for first time Deschutes anglers. We can recommend some great local guides.

Can I fish from the Lodge yard?
Our yard does fall right into the river. You are welcome to fish from it anytime that you like.
